Today, UAB and the world lost someone dear to usâ€¦Ellory Bisk.

He was known on the site as Angus Rosencrowne, or Bob Spastic, but we all knew him as Ellory. It was an honor to be able to know him, and we were honored to have him as a Senior Admin for the site. He brought a level of humor that everyone loved. He had a personality that just made you feel joy when you were with him. Iâ€™ve seen a number of people say he was a good soul, and he was. He will truly be missed.

To his wife, Kim, and all his family, we give our deepest condolences on your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

When we know of arrangements and other affairs, we will let you all know.

Wow. this is really depressing. He was a warm and friendly person. I'll miss seeing him around the site.

Can we do some form of an Ellory memorial hr and play his various recordings and possibly dedicate a few hours to his favorites list?

Having been around UAB for over 10 years, Ellory and I had many conversations on all things Disney, the love of music, and food... Smile

Our Monday Night Chat Rooms were some of the best times I have ever had with a group of amazing people who have a common love of Disney. I have a particularly favorite memory of Ellory during a chat discussion. I was that night's moderator and it was getting late. Ellory was getting ready to sign off, saying he and Kim were 'getting ready to go grocery shopping.' I said to Ellory, "So that's what you're calling it nowadays?" Smile

Elory, in that booming voice of his, starting laughing so hard he could hardly breathe! We laughed a solid half hour after that, with Ellory going into his bag of voices and each one making comments on 'grocery shopping.' It will always be one of my favorite memories of him. I particularly loved the old days where he would play Angus and read off each month's donator's. What a tremendous talent and sense of humor! Thanks Ellory for all the great memories, my friend. I will miss you.. Sad

I am saddened to hear of Ellory's passing. I too have great memories of conversations had in the Monday night chats and even One on One help with navigating UAB in 2005.. I enjoyed his personality, forum posts and talents.

R.I.P my friend you will be missed

It has been almost a week and I still cry when I read this thread. I can't believe he's no longer with us. He was such a great man and wonderful friend to us all.

My heart aches for Kim...she and Ellory made a wonderful pair. Both full of joy and love for each other, food, Disney and life!

So many wonderful memories from the site and Disneyland with them. I'm so grateful to have known Ellory and will keep my memories close.

Thanks to all of you here at UAB for sharing your fond memories...another wonderful bonus of being a part of this community--shared life!
