Has anyone been to DisneyLand Paris??

Hi! I might be going to Disneyland Paris at the end of August. Has anyone been there before - any helpful suggestions etc? Appreciate it!

Never been, but would love to go sometime. I know we've had members go, I just can't recall who.

I have never been, but I have some friends in the UK that go once a year.
Their favorite things:

Space Mountain (no surprise)
There's some kind of Ratatouille attraction that sounds awesome.
Get lots of pictures of the Haunted Mansion (which I consider a homage to the Bates Motel)
See what's inside the castle (I've seen pictures and it looks amazing!)

My wife and I stopped by DLP this past fall (Sept 2015). It's a pretty park; more park like (trees and a little more spread out) than WDW and DL. Attractions are similar but different to the US counterparts and there are a few unique to DLP. I posted some pics online a while back (http://dbeedle.com/Photos/DL-Paris2015). Getting from the airport to the park can be...interesting...we used a private car service (largely because our plane landed at 6am and we didn't want to futz with figuring out the train) but the train has a station at the airport, stops right at the park and is less expensive. The car service was very convenient though. There are ATMs at the air port and at DLP for cash (Euros) and the CMs were friendly and helpful. Phantom Manor is a bit more intense, Space Mountain; very neat, and you have to find your way _below_ the castle! If you have questions I can try to answer them!
