Louis Armstrong was the intended voice for this character, although an illness kept him from the part. But the character was still modeled after him, both in appearance and tendencies. |

I love that movie.
Mainly due to his Star Trek commitment, Sir Patrick Stewart missed out on voicing many Disney characters (including Cogsworth).

The island used as the headquarters for this villain was rendered to resemble Neverland from Peter Pan. |
