Well, I figured people are going to start asking what is the weather like at WDW... What is the weather going to be like for the Jamboree...
So I figured I would start a thread, detailing the weather... Each morning, I will post an updated forecast of the weather for the days leading up to, during, and a few days after the Jamboree...
Enjoy...

The possible hurricane (Hurricane Karen) has fallen part and is no longer being tracked by the NOAA... At this point, no one is predicting anything with the system...
Looks like the temps will be good (high 80s, low 90s)... Chances of rain are around 30-40%... This means that the humidity is going to be a killer.... And since it is Florida and there are rain chances, expect shows around the normal 3:00-4:00pm time frame (normal for Central Florida)...
Ok, so there is not hurricane coming, but there is a tropical wave that they are watching.... There is a possibility that it might form into a storm, but it is expected to stay southward (between Fla and Cuba)... However, if it gets big enough or moves northward, it could cause a bigger impact on our weather... So the chances of rain may increase in the next few days...
But, it's Florida, so it is going to rain... just depends on how much and how long...
Bruce, since you pay taxes in Florida, don't you have SOME say in the weather? come on, use your powers and give us cooler, sunny days! PLEASE! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

That tropical wave/disturbance still hasn't shown any real signs of organization... Which is good and bad... Good that an actual Tropical Depression/Storm probably won't form... Bad that it will probably dump some rain on us... This is the large area of clouds/rain to the southeast of Florida (see radar above). Rain chances have been slightly increasing because of this area...
Don't worry about the Low Pressure on the radar map above, that came through here a few days ago, dumped a ton of rain and some several storms.... but it is moving to the west...
So, the temps are holding in the high 80s and high humidity.... But hey, it's Florida, what do ya expect?

Ok, I'm swamped with work... mainly because I wlll be gone a few days next week because of the Jamboree.... So I am unable to get the images like I did earlier this week....
But, the forecast hasn't changed much.... except the rain chances have gone up a little on Saturday, Weather.com is calling for 60% while the locals are at %40... Also, no big changes in the temps, still high 80s - low 90s all weekend...
Like I've been saying, its still Florida... so it is going to rain, just depends on how much....
Well, I can tell you the forecast for the Cubs, dark and cloudy. It's with that, my friends, I will not be attending Jamboree. As I said in the chat I have tickets to Saturday's game in Wrigley. While seeing you all is something that I have been looking forward to, going to a Cubs playoff game in Wrigley has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. Seeing, as it has been 98 years and from the looks of things this may be the last game of the season.
I hope you all have a safe and fun time. I want to see lots of pictures.

As a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan I'd have to say the less Cub fans down here the better. Just kidding. Since the Cards aren't in it, I can wish the Cubs luck!
BTW It is storming it's you know what off at the parks right now. Another Mickey's No So Dry Halloween party it seems...poor people.
