I voted for P.O. Riverside...only because I haven't stayed at any of the other choices, yet.... _________________

So many people I meet who have stayed at WDW a few times in the past really seem to like Riverside for some reason. |

I have statyed at Riverside and Coronado, and thought I'd say Riverside, but I realized I've stayed at Coronado 3 times, so I must like it too Maybe I'm just tired of Coronado so Riverside sounds like a good break. |

Riverside and French Quarters are probably the quietest of the list... Coronado Springs can get crowded during "convention season" and Caribbean Beach looks like some tacky beach motel (IMHO)...
We stayed at French Quarter during our Honeymoon (back when it was called just Port Orleans) and loved it... We have stayed a few times and it is still great... I personally think French Quarter is one of the best resorts on property!
Riverside is also very, very good... Both are really quiet, spread out, great themeing, everything is top notch... Although, French Quarter would be better if they opened the restaurant back up (the best breakfast on prop when it was open)... But Riverside has the best pool (although FQ's dragon pool is pretty good too)...
If you were going to go from something romantic (honeymoon, anniversary, quiet getaway for two) the FQ gets the nod... _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

I agree with daguru, I love the French Quarter almost more then well a certain resort that will remain nameless at this time. _________________ Jason

I'va always liked CBR the best - maybe because it was the first we stayed at (on our honeymoon) so it has some good memories for us. We've stayed at Riverside and Coronado - but have yet to try the French Quarter. I just love the quiet at CBR and the walks in the morning and evening around the lake with the lights glowing on the water. I've never found it too spread out. My second would have to be Riverside. We had a bad experience at Coronado and it kind of soured us to that one - but I love Coronado's pool. Guess I can find something good at all of them we've stayed at but CBR still wins. _________________ Kathy

having ony tried the CBR it is hard not to be biased. And with the kids, it is unlikely I will be going other than Value for a while longer. |

I guess I'll agree with Kathy.
Seeing I have been with here every time she has stayed at these resorts. |

I have been to riverside 3 times. Just something about the feeling of being out in the middle of nowhere and know your only five minutes from a bus stop and any park you want to go to. |

I stayed at the PO Riverside in 05 but when we go in 09 we're gonna try FQ. I thinks it's a little more quaint. But we're from South MS so the Southern LA styling is like home for us! We really enjoyed it. |
