I'd be more concerned about the corned beef and cabbage! (phew!) _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Figment is having a great time so far. He has been hanging out with Mickey and Chicken Little, enjoying sitting by the fire with the dogs, and anticipating St Patrick's Day. The weather has been lousy, but we plan to tour the town and maybe fly a kite. _________________ [ |

Good luck getting the "Idea Bag" through security Make sure not to mention the Dream Fort, don't want them thinking UAB is some sort of Disney Militant group
Have fun on your trip! |

Here is part 1 of Figment's visit to historic Taunton, Massachusetts.
Figment blew into town on a March wind and little dragon wings on the ides of March. 36 degrees and wet snow. Welcome to Springtime in New England Figment
Welcome to our home Figment. He thinks he's going to like it here.
Figment meets the rest of the gang. Furball, is that you? What do you hear from Captain Wacko?
Chicken Little! Are you supposed to be riding your bike in the house!
Figment drops a buck in the Mickey can. When this can is full, Frank and Donna-Lee get to go back to WDW.
Figment checks out some Disney Marathon Bling.
Now Figment wants to be a runner. He gets on the treadmill, cranks some Off Kilter on the MP3 player, and gets ready to go. No! Figment! Don't set it at 7! You'll go right off the.............................
Edge.............
Figment heard that March is a good time to fly kites. I don't know little guy. It's pretty windy out there today.
Hold on. I'll get the ladder.
Figment is getting a little homesick for Epcot. Here's just the thing Figment. It's UAB and Ellory's Epcot Experience. Figment is a happy little guy now.
Stay tuned for part 2 of Figment's visit to the Silver City when Figment celebrates St Patrick's Day and Easter with Frank and Donna-Lee _________________ [ |

Here is part 2 of Figment's visit with Frank and Donna-Lee in the Silver City of Taunton, MA.
This is what Figment has been waiting for, St Patrick's Day. We started with a toast when the corned beef went on the stove. Then the Guinness started flowing. Maybe it was only 10:00 AM here, but it's well past noon in Dublin. Figment likes singing along with the Irish songs. "Oh! There's whiskey in the jar......"
Figment learns an Irish phrase. "One hundred thousand welcomes."
And another. "There is no fire like your own fire."
And here is what Figment has been waiting for. A "drop of the crathur" to toast the Saint, corned beef and cabbage with home made soda bread, and a creamy pint to wash it all down. Save room for some Bailey's in your coffee. Daguru, Angus, Macdoogal, eat your heart out for missing this.
Only a week between St Patrick's Day and Easter this year. Donna-Lee made sure that Figment had his own Easter basket. Hmmmmmm! Look at all that candy.
Apparently, that wasn't enough for our little buddy. He dives into the family candy dish. Don't eat too much Figment.
Looks like Figment over did it.
Almost time for Figment to head off on his next assigment. But first, A visit to a real running store to get him fitted for new shoes. "Do you have Mizuno Wave Inspire in size .5?'. Figment promises never to call his "running shoes" "sneakers" like DopeyD...I mean GrumpyDaddy.
One last stop. Figment wants to visit Taunton Green to see the "Liberty and Union" or "Taunton" flag. Figment learned that this was the very first flag raised in opposition to the British in October of 1774. Figment recognizes this as the first flag that hangs in the Hall of Flags at the American Adventure in Epcot. Figment feels proud.
Now Figment is off with KSDisneyFan and GrumpyDaddy to visit our nation's capital. Say Hi to George and Laura. And don't go hunting with the VP. We love you and want you to stay safe. _________________ [ |

Looks like Figment had a great time with you guys.
Too bad it was so windy the day he flew that kite. I'm glad you were able to get him out of the tree safely.
I recognize that bowl the Easter candy is in. I have that same bowl.
I'm glad Figment wasn't too much trouble for you and Donna. _________________ *~deb~*

Figment was just as well behaved for us as for Donna and Frank. I'm not sure he had as much fun - there was no guiness around. It was a bit of an educational trip for him though. We even found some of his friends in D.C. and he learned a bit more of the history between the colonial Americans and the Brits in Williamsburg. Let's just say the colonists were a bit confused by our little guest
Kelly was a great little hostess and carried Fiment everywhere we went. I'll get the pictures off to Deb this weekend so we can get them posted _________________ Kathy
