Ok...it snowed about 7 inches here in Northern Illinois, and I'm not going anywhere today. I'm not shoveling, either. It's a silent protest to what is hopefully the last snowfall of the season.
Instead of getting upset about it...I've decided to be meloow...so...I'm going to be requesting nothing but nice, soft, mellow music all day.
Why not join in?...request your favorite mellow track...and let's "chill out" on this fine Sunday.
What's your favorite relaxing track, and why? |

Everyone knows how I feel about the "Bug's Land" background music. I find it very soothing and a nice track to be listening to while working. I've found it easing any stress I might be experiencing. _________________ *~deb~*

For relaxing music I would go with the Tree of Life area music and Norway area music for starters. Then maybe France area music and Wilderness lodge!!!! Nice idea for a mellow day Ellory. I am sitting in my house staring at the snow as well but we only got about 3 or 4 inches here . |

If God had wanted us to shovel snow,He would:
Not have invented Hot Cocoa
Not have made it meltable
Not have sent it to us in the first place so in my opinion,
This is God's way of telling you to be a bum (excepting Church however).
All we got here is rain and wigggling earthworms. |

I like any of the Main Street, USA tracks for relaxing. It brings me back to the days where we would sit in the hub in the late afternoon waiting for the lights to come on down the street....magical! ºoº _________________ John |

While I second the "Bugs Land" music, I think the Space Mountain "star Tunnel" music is very relaxing. I have also come to find I like the Zen quality of the Expedition Everest Queue music. Very peaceful. OOOOoooommmmm.... |

Hmm... I actually love some of those Serka Zong tracks - they give that area a really eerie feeling to it. That is, except the one with just banging pots and pans aimlessly.
The star tunnel is a good one, and any of the Wonders of Life / Tomorrowland tracks (Bubble Shuffle) are really soothing. However, I think I may be too late now. |

hey, it's never too late! In the dedication, just type in "my mellow Track"....we'll keep this running as long as anyone wants to join in.
It might actually be a good idea for a new show. A while back I pitched the "UAB Meditation Hour".One hour of relaxing (mellow) music. It's a bit tricky catagorizing the tracks, not to mention time consuming...but if enough people think it's a good idea....well...who knows. |

It's not often that I want mellow tracks, but when I do, I think that Club 33 are the ones for me...especially Feed The Birds.
I think this would be a great Sunday afternoon show...now if we could only get Barry White to do the intros and such... _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I would have to agree about the one random track that is just the clanging of pots and pans. That can be a little much.
As for a mellow style show on Sunday mornings/early afternoon, I think it's a great idea. Some soothing tracks to listen to while we sit and read the NYT and eat a leisurely late breakfast. Wait, who am I kidding, I have an 18 month old now. I don't do that any more....
I still like the idea of a show, though. I would add some of the Innoventions and New Tomorrowland music to it too. There are particular tracks I am thinking of, but I can't place their actual names right now. |
