Zombies and Stormtroopers

At the urging of a fellow UABer (coughonecutemoosecough), I'm posting a pic that sums up my adventures from last weekend. DragonCon is an annual sci-fi/fantasy convention here in Atlanta, so of course I have to go! This year, a group of us attempted to break a Guinness World's Record for the most people dancing to Thriller simultaneously (in one location). The current record is 242 people. We had 903, so hopefully Guinness gives us the record!

I was an instructor and did that dance for 4 straight hours. Among my "students" were these wonderful stormtroopers, who could totally rock out, even with all that armor!

Very cool! My lil' sister's friends performed the dance ad the Senior Exhibition at Hermon High School (just outside of Bangor, ME) Obviously not nearly as impressive, but that's closest thing to 'theater' up there! Laughing

Thanks, y'all. Is it bad that I am already planning my costumes for this event next year? I haven't even started on my three (yes, THREE) Halloween costumes yet. Shocked

Yep, that was one of the practice sessions. That Alien got himself 17,000 views in four days. Crazy! I don't know how he did the dance without dropping from dehydration.
