Which book are you currently reading?

Hi!
I love reading and have read a couple of books. I started reading after I read "The Da Vinci Code", I liked reading the book so much that I started reading other novels also and slowly started liking reading. I am currently reading a very good book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" penned down by J K Rowling. She has written about 6 books and all of these were gifted to me by a friend of mine for Christmas. He knows this kind of books I like. I am enjoying reading this book. What are you currently reading? It would be great fun to know what the other here people are reading.

I have just finished Designing Disney, (John Hench) What would Walt Do? and The Imagineering Way.

Short reads, fascinating nonetheless. I am waiting for the next Kingdom Keepers book by Ridley Pearson( In the Shadows) to come out. It's a young adult book I know but very entertaining!!

April 2010 is the release date

WDWFan, are you reading all of those at once? Surprised

I'm reading Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. Totally outrageous, but a lot of fun. My last read was The Bone Shaker by Cherie Priest: a steampunk zombie novel. And yes, I liked it. Smile

Yes, I typically will have several books in progress at a time. I'll read which ever one has grabbed my attention the most. Some are for light filler reading, others for more serious reading, etc...

Polished off "Guadalcanal Diary" by Richard Tregaskis over the break and am about halfway through "Guadalcanal: The Definitive Account of the Landmark Battle" by Richard B. Frank. I usually stick to WWII books, and shift from theater to theater based on my interests at the time. Right now I'm getting geared up for the new WWII mini-series premiering on HBO in March, "The Pacific"

I haven't read anything since The Bizarre Truth by Andrew Zimmern. The book I got for Christmas, The Flavor Bible, isn't exactly a novel, albeit very interesting. Very Happy

Currently in the middle of two series of books. One by Bill Pronzini about a gumshoe detective based in San Francisco - really fun! And the second a Victorian mystery series set in England by Robin Paige. They're both awesome series.

But hey - here's something I should have posted on this site earlier. Have you all read Dreamworld by Jane Goldman? Really, you must read it. Here's a brief summary: Dreamworld is "the other" amusement park in Florida whose major competition is WDW. A murder happens in Dreamworld and the book is about finding the killer. There are so many parallels to WDW, you soon realize Dreamworld IS WDW. I really enjoyed the book. I'd like to know if anyone else has read it.

disposal often. Just picked up "The Lost Symbol", by Dan Brown, very well-done sequel,
(or is that 3-quel Question

), to "The DaVinci Code", (I'm a sucker for 'conspiracy fiction).

Also, "National Treasure: Changing Tides", (I know, I know Rolling Eyes

), still a good light read.

I've been re-reading "Around the World in 80 Days" by Monsieur Jules Verne. Probably
one of the first books I ever fell in love with. Can't get enough of it.

I have this book about not procrastinating, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I was going to bring a really cool book; Chuck Noris Vs. Mr. T, but I forgot it at home.

Killing Yourself To Live by Chuck Klosterman. I just finished Sex, Drugs & Coco Puffs by him and thought it was FAAAAAN-tastic .

I am re-reading a book about an author's experience running the Boston Marathon for the first time. It's titled "26 Miles to Boston". I read it last year before I ran the Boston Marathon and thought that another read would be more meaningful after I had actually experienced the event. I found the book very intimidating last year. Now that I have driven and run the course, I am hoping to enjoy recollecting the experience.
