Honeymoon Bound

Hi Friends,
Sorry, I've been out of the mix lately, new job has me running around like a madman.

So, over the holidays I got married and now we are getting to head off on the honeymoon with a cruise to the Western Caribbean.

When I worked for Disney I had the opportunity to take about 10 Disney cruises thanks to the mad discounts castmembers got.

This cruise will be Royal Caribbean. My question to you is, has anyone hear taken a Royal Caribbean cruise? What should expect?

Don't worry, my iPhone is stocked with Horizons music to keep me company during the 7 day vacation.

Actually I HAVE been on a Royal Caribbean cruise, and it was for my honeymoon, way, way, way back when so i don't know how similar it would be. We had a marvelous time, and once the kids are grown up we want to go back, and we would definitely go RC again.

Congratulations, Jaho! We just went on a Royal Caribbean cruise in December. I'm not the cruise type (we went because my dad got remarried and they did a wedding at sea thing), but we enjoyed it. Lots of activities - our favorites were the dancing/live bands and karaoke. I danced the Macarena for the first time in about a decade. Very Happy

If there are any off-shore excursions, sign up early. We went to the excursion counter right after we got checked in, and later in the cruise the line was long with people signing up for things. If you itinerary includes a day in Nassau, I highly recommend the Offroad Segway tour. They took us to the opposite side of the island, and we wound up on a quiet beach where there were no other people. Just gorgeous! Plus, riding Segways down dirt trails is a lot of fun.
