I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to see this over the weekend.
It was a good movie, that stands well on its own merits.

The movie contained parts linking in the online game (the ships in a bottle in a cabinet, the strong voodoo use, etc.) and also pulling in parts/scenes from the ride(s).

Well worth the cost, and I left feeling as good as I did after the first movie (something I missed after 2 and 3)

Any one else make it to the Stranger Tides?

David and I saw it last night. I have to agree with you. Much better than the others. Definitely leaves it open for another.

I give it Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Mike did you see it in 3D? We didn't and enjoyed it just as well.

mdegrand and I saw it Friday night. We thought it was good; better than the third. Didn't miss Kiera or Orlando at all. It really held its own.

Personally, of all the scenes, the mermaid scene was a little wonky... don't want to have to issue a spoiler alert for those who haven't seen it yet!

I saw it in 2 D and thought it was great.
My daughter would not mind seeing it in 3D, but there are none close by me.

(I have eye problems and don't see 3D very well, so I don't care either way)

I have the same problem. Sometimes it works....sometimes it doesn't.
