We will be staying at the Coronado and was wondering if anyone had any transportation advise for a party of 12 getting to IOA for a day? (best shuttle service, cheapest, etc.)
BTW-We're not renting a vehicle.
Thanks! |

We had a large party going from Beach Club to Universal last fall. We used one private car and used Happy Limo for the rest of the group.
Using a car service is REALLY convenient - the drop-off / pick-up is much closer to the entrance than it is for private cars using the parking deck.
www.mousesavers.com is a great source of info and coupons for Happy Limo and other options.
Happy Limo picked up up and dropped us off at our convenience. We were very pleased with the service.
Have a great trip! |

I used to work for a service and yes it is more convenient and you pay for distance and not and I repeat ti me so if you get stuck in traffic no worries no rolling meter. It's cool I had fun with my passengers all the time. So good luck. But do your self a favor stay away from mears transportation A lot of the smaller companies are great so good luck. _________________

Mears does have a shuttle that picks up at a WDW resort and take you to Universal. The times for departure are limited though and you need to make sure you know what they are and be there on time. |

The mears shuttle is fine but the town cars are better you set your own agenda not based off time and when they'll take you but when you want to go. _________________

I agree..especially if you are going for just one day. Having the flexibility to work on your schedule instead of someone else's schedule is well worth the extra cost. |

You have two options here. First option being towncar limo transportation or to get a small bus. Either option will fit the people you have and will cost around the same.

As a former driver I still say The personalized service afforded you with a town car or SUV driver is much better than being herded like cattle everywhere you go. I don't know about you I don't want to be told when and where to get picked up at I want flexibility.

Yes I can understand that. Flexibility is great but you pay much more for that. With just the basic auto transport and setting up a date and time before hand you can save a load of money. |
