Wanted to check and see if any of the usual marathon runners were running this year... Haven't heard much about it...
We are up for the usual mini-meet at Rose & Crown Sunday night if anyone is interested... _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

Good luck runners! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

I have another Disney friend who is running the half for the first time, although I don't believe he's a member here.
What's the weather supposed to be like on the day of the big races? _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Low of 54 with a high of 76... Should be pretty nice! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

I rant the 5k and the Full while my wife ran the Half. The Full was a little hot, but overall the weather and atmosphere was awesome. Can't wait for next year! |

I believe all our runners are trickling back and hopefully we can get a full report for all of you.
So, how did you do in the overall scheme of things? How did you do for your personal time? _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

This was my 1st marathon so no real time plan. Ended up doing it in 5 hours which is admirable. Marathon report will be up this weekend on my blog. www.allthingswdw.blogspot.com |

It was a very good Marathon weekend.
This was my 7th year running at Disney in one or both of the Marathon.
I found the weather good to run in my 5th Full Marathon and had a real good race.
This was my best year in the Marathon I ran 3:53:48 that was an improvment of
21 minuets better than the 4:14:48 I ran there the year and the first time
I had reached or passed the 4 hours mark!!
Congrats to jaho in finishing his first Marathon and to dlears and Figmentathm
who ran the 5K and Marathon last weekend. |

If I remember correctly, Figmentathm said he finished around 4:05... I think, I can't remember exactly... _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

Thanks GrumpDaddy.
Great weekend and great place to run my 1st full marathon. Not knowing what to expect I got caught up in the hoopla and neglected my training schedule. Finished in 5 hours. Oh well, at least I got one under my belt.
Next year, I'm shooting for 4 or sub 4. Heck, maybe I'll just win the thing |

I must say, anyone who can commit to running a marathon or even the half deserves a lot of credit, regardless of how or where they finished!!
To all our runners, I applaude you!! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
