Okay, had to call in a little help because I had no clue.
Wreck It Ralph
(I haven't seen any part of this movie. I should really sign up for Disney+) |

Character 1 (at front door): Okay, where's the duck?
Character 2: I beg your pardon?
Character 1 (shouting): I want my duck! |

Feels like a classic Disney live action…How about “Absent Minded Professor”? |

It is a Disney classic movie from the 60s as well as being not animated. |

Could it be one of the Herbie movies? |

Not one of the Herbie movies, but actor/actress starred in a lot of 60s Disney movies. |

Hmm, seems too obvious, but it couldn’t be from Million Dollar Duck? Dean Jones led the cast, one of his many Disney credits. |

Dean Jones is in it, plays one of the leads, but the real lead (as we all know) is female. |

That Darn Cat? Only other Dean Jones film that immediately came to mind. |

Character 1: “We’ll keep on being friends forever, won’t we?”
Character 2: “Darlin’, forever is a long, long time. And time has a way of changin’ things.” |

Excellent guess, but incorrect. Animated movie, 25 years (give or take) more recent than Ol’ Yeller. |
