Let's Introduce Ourselves

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new here. I've posted over on Doombuggies before, so if the screen name looks familiar, that explains it. I grew up at Disney World since my hometown wasn't far from there, and pretty much every milestone in my life has been celebrated with a trip to Disney. I still get back about once a year, so I'm counting on this site to get me through the rest of the time. Very Happy

My name's Laure and I joined yesterday. I've been a fan of Disney my whole life (living in CA I got to take lots of 8 hr. car trips down to Disneyland!!!). I came across this site via a Google search b/c I was looking for Disneyland turnstyle sounds - unfortunately Sad

, no one has been able to find them. But I'm still looking...

Anyway, the music on here is great and there's stuff here I've never heard - either that or I just wasn't paying attention! Thanks again for letting me join. Smile

Kinda off topic, but does anyone know where I can direct a tech question? I'm logged in and I want to make a request, but I keep getting a message that says I'm NOT logged in. Is it just a computer glitch? I was able to do ratings yesterday.

Welcome Laurie! It's great to meet you.

When you go to the "Make a Request" and you're not logged into the broadcast, you can log in on the page at the top. Once you do that, you shouldn't have any problems making a request. If you continue to have problems, please post your questions here:

Can't access the music?

I had the same problem when I joined...ya, like Deb said...you actually have to log-in twice....I usually log in the second time, when I go to the "Tune in Now" page, at the top!

Well seeing as I've been on and off this site for the past year, almost exactly, I thought I ought to introduce myself. Hi I'm Jeff, (almost makes me want to stand up and conclude with "and I'm an alcoholic.") I am a design and creative writing student in michigan. Only have two classes left thank goodness. Last year I posted a topic of Designing A Disney Ride that I was seeking every one's input on for my senior thesis. Well I would first like to say thank you for your help, and secondly I would like to update anyone who is curious that I am currently a Semi-finalist. I am one of 27 out of over 600 original submissions. If any one is interested I would be happy to post some information about the ride as well, to every one who has seen or sat through one of my extremely mundaine (at least as much as you can be with anything Disney) have loved the concept. I must say thank you to the administrators as I spent hours surrounding myself with the ride music as I spent an uncountable number of hours designing, writing, building computer models, etc.
So to summarize this extremely long winded introduction, thank you to all.

thanks ltldeb and Ellory for the nice welcome and the help!!! For some reason I kept logging in but still couldn't access the other menus. It's working now though. I'll just have to get used to logging in twice Very Happy
