|
|
I was taking my daughter out for a father daughter breakfast, and we were, as we commonly are, listening to Disney CDs.
"When you wish upon a Star" came on, and She claimed that for her that was the Song she felt best represented what "Disney World" mean for her.
That got me to fondering, what songs do other folks hear, that they will forever more consider the definitive "This is Disney" song. |

i agree too. other candidates for quintessential disney theme park songs are it's a small world, a pirate's life for me, baroque hoedown, and maybe laughing place. swisskapolka and the tiki room theme are also way up there for me. |

Definetely "When You Wish Upon a Star" and Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah".
After all, those two songs are Disney company anthems, for one thing. |

I'm on board with everything everyone has said so far, but another song that always seems to bring a Disney tear to my eye is..."The Second Star to the Right". I'm immediately whisked away to Never Never Land.... |

Some people opt for "Someday My Prince Will Come", but I was thinking "When You Wish Upon a Star" when I saw the thread title. |

When you wish upon a star is truly a definitive song of Disney but I think "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" sums up the feeling you get when you're apart of Disney. _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

Well so far everything everyone has said is so true. But the one song to that speaks volumes to me is the song I grew up with when we visited WDW "Now is the Best Time." I believe that song says everthing. As an annual pass holder ejoying the time with my kids is the best time of my life. And I'm young enough that when they get married and have kids of there own I'll be able to do the same.
So let the century begin ....."Now is the time".......... hehehe couldn't help myself |
