Birthday party aboard Disney Cruise Line

Today my girlfriend & I booked a Disney Cruise for september. Upon doing so, my girlfriend included a birthday party as it was described.

Now, I was just wondering if anyone knows what the "Party" includes. Is it just a cake delivered to your room? A party at one of the restaurant's?

I'm just really nervous now. I'm a shy guy & don't really want to be celebrating amongst some strangers. So, if it is a cake delivered to your room...I can deal with that.

Anyways, can anyone answer what exactly they do? I'd appreciate it.

I think I read some where that the Birthday person has to walk the plank.
