Desert SW heating up - low 100s today but 117 by Sunday - but I will be in San Diego enjoying some cool ocean breezes ...

Tennessee can't make up it's mind: Yesterday we were raining and in the 60s, today we were mostly in the 90s with nary a cloud in the sky.

We're in this strange mid-point where it wants to be really hot, but then a tiny storm will roll through, rain for a few minutes, then leave behind 80-degree weather. As a result, the weekend was fant-abulous!

In the past 7 days I left and it was 46 got to AZ and it was 110, went to CA and it was 70s then 90s - headed back to AZ and it was 120 in the desert west of El Centro - got to Buckeye and it was 104 at 9 PM, got to Wickenburg and it was 100 inside our little house - got back to Co and it is in the upper 90s - enough of the heat already - send us some cooling showers ...

I spoke to my father on Father's Day - he lives in Scottsdale, AZ - he shares your sentiment, Ocm'sMa.

Heat's pushed though the south as well - and today was downright icky with humidity. We're about to get a belt of storms again from Thursday night to Saturday, so we'll have to see if that brings some relief.

Hot Hot Hot in the Four Corners - 6200 elevation and upper 90s is not fun - nice that we do have air conditioning - lots of folks here either only have swamp coolers or nothing at all ... Sad

We had some storms earlier in the week and it left the weather relatively cool. For the past two days, we were in the high 80s. This afternoon is was much much hotter. Goodness, we haven't even gotten into August yet.
