I cannot remember the last time we had this much rain in a single week. For most of this year, we'd get these little storms rolling through that would dump rain for a few minutes and move on. It seems to have been raining near-non-stop since the weekend ended.

It was warm at first - we had a monster of a storm at the start of the week - but today the temperature seems stuck at 65 (I made the mistake of wearing shorts outside).

Well ... I have been at 11,000 ft in the San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado for the past week ... snow up to our bottoms and cold ... but thankful for the moisture as our area is in such a severe drought, even got some rain in the valley on the farm, has been cool for this time of year and a little moisture each day since coming back to the valley ... hope this is a sign of a good wet winter that will fill our lakes and rivers back up ...

Beautiful Fall day here in SW Colorao, sun shinning, temps in the low 50s, clear skies and our snow capped mountains are glistening like diamonds .... bring on the next storm...

Fall is in full swing this week, with the trees changing to a myriad of different colors (plaid!). Unfortunately, storms are coming later this week - October storms tend to knock the last leaves out of the trees and ruin our Bob Ross moment!

So here in MA we had our first snowfall of the 2018/2019 season. We got a few inches when all was said and done, but a lot had melted away due to the temps going up over 40 and rain.

I am SO done with winter! Wait, it's still fall...Son of a Nutcracker!!

Spent a few days on the farm in Colorado - dry and seasonal temps 50s in the day and teens at night - returned to the desert SW to temps in the 70s and lows in the 40s ... but headed to DLR next week and looking for perfect weather in the Parks ...

As we roll into Thanksgiving, things are rather chilly here in middle Tennessee. It was 25 degrees this morning, but within a few hours it had climbed to the 60s, and it sounds like that's how it'll be for the rest of the week.

The rain has stopped (for now).

In the desert SW high clouds and a little cooler - a couple of "cold" fronts headed our way dropping us into the 60s during the day and low 30s at night ... still pretty awesome ... just a couple more days and I am headed to DLR for our annual holiday trip ... very excited for all my favorites and to see what will be new ...

It's 15 here in New England, almost record lows. But with the turkey cooking, it'll warm things up rather nicely in the house.

And then tonight we get to laugh at the people who have been camping out in front of our Best Buy to save $20 on a TV.
