Sorry for the slow Figment update, y'all - we were out of town for Christmas so I am playing catch-up! We took Figment down to Savannah the weekend before Christmas to visit with my mom. Here are a few shots of our time there...Enjoy!

Colonial Park Cemetery is the oldest existing cemetery in Savannah. They usually lock the gates at night, but the night we were they they were wide open. We couldn't resist popping in...

"What chilling words, like shriek or killer, can spark the mind to start a thriller?"

Catching up with Mickey and some new friends:

The weather was so warm that my husband ran around in shorts. Figment, on the other hand, was running around in no pants! Here he is at Mom's, who lives in a late-1800s carriage house:

In one of Savannah's famous squares:

In front of the historic cathedral:

Grumpy, is that you?

You just never know who you're going to run into down in Savannah! This merman was a business card holder at a gift shop.

At Chippewa Square. Forrest Gump's bench was where all the flowers are now:

Whew! All that sightseeing made Figment thirsty!

Awesome pictures! Too bad Figgy couldn't do a Forest Gump impersonation! Oh well, still a nice trip anyway.

What a fun set of pics. Too bad Figgy couldn't make it to The Lady and Sons. I loved my Shrimp and grits. Lots of butter to be had yum!

I'm jealous. I've always wanted to go to Savannah, but have only made it as far as Charleston.

We first went there back when it was a tiny storefront and you didn't have to wait in line to get in! On this trip we went to 17Hundred90 for dinner and it was fantastic!

Figmentathm: I LOVE Savannah. We always have so much fun going to visit Mom. She knows every fifth person we pass on the sidewalk, so it's always an adventure with her.

Doesn't look like Figment's adventures will end. People have been voting about this in the Facebook group and so far everyone has voted to continue letting Figment adventure away. Smile

That's good. I don't want Figment to be homeless.
