My birthday isn't for a while, so you are all welcome to chip in and get this for me as an early Christmas gift . . .

Yeah, while we're still on the topic, this would make an awesome gift:

Hint, hint. (I'd love to install it on my Volvo.)

I thought that was a given. I'd have it set up so when I pressed the unlock button on my key fob, the car would say: "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas." And then it would slide open. Of course, I'd have to paint the rest of my car to match the door, too.

And I would record a commentary track detailing my drive to and from work. "Coming up on your right is Pompton Lakes High School. Built in 1932, it was used as the setting for much of the Kevin Klein film In & Out."

I like that idea! I guess when I get my next Wrangler, I'll have to buy a white one and put a monorail stripe on it. My spiel would be a little different, thanks to sitting in I-4 traffic: "The MonoJeep will be begin moving momentarily."

Interesting factoid about In & Out. Didn't know that.

I remember I-4 traffic. I don't miss it. It only takes me about fifteen minutes to get to work now, and I can take all back roads to get there. It's pretty nice.

Yeah, it's a nice old school. Had I gone to school up here (I went through all of my schooling in Florida, K through college), I would have liked to have gone there.
