From Screamscape:
Park News - (6/15/06) The character breakfast is expected to reopen around June 25th, but it seems that the plans to use Pixar characters has changed. Instead they will be replaced with the cast of JoJo’s Circus, a claymation looking show many people probably have not heard of and is old enough to be on the way out. (Personally, I know my boys, 2 & 4, can’t stand it.) It certainly doesn’t sound like anything I would want to pay the premium price of a character breakfast for either. _________________

As long as it doesn't migrate to lunch and perish the thought, dinner...
Although, if it is popular enough, I know it is going to take over lunch as well....

somehow...I dont see Jo Jo's Circus as a major draw...
The characters on Mickey Avenue seem to be entertaining themselves most of the time which is unfortunate...

When we were there in Feb. one of the waitstaff at 50's Prime Time Cafe told us it was going to be Buzz & Woody. We were excited since there are not really any character breakfasts for our soon to be 3 yr old son (he is not old enough to enjoy the princesses yet....). I also can't see how Jojo will be a draw. Hopefully with Pixar back in the fold something will happen. |

I was glad to hear it was coming back, and then totally disappointed to hear it was with Playhouse Disney characters. They could really use a "hero" type lunch with the Toy Story, Incredibles, Hercules, etc type characters. _________________ Kathy
