Well my having a Wii is story of luck...
In order to get it i had to give Inga back rubs every night for 2 months prior. She would come home from work, sit and front of me and call out "Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" Not too bad of a price to pay to get it. Bit o luck #1
I got up the morning it came out and headed over to Best Buy at 6am. My game plan was:
Buy and Wii and an extra controller and if i was lucky... I would also get Zelda. Afterall thats the only reason I wanted a Wii anyway. I am a Ninetendo/Zelda loyalist.
So I arrive there and not surprisingly there is quite a line:
So they do a count around 7 and it ends up that I am #112 in line. The securtity guard then advised that I could be farther back as other in line ahead of me have gotten out of line for the restroom and to get coffee and such. He also stated that 8 they would be "closing" the line, so that there wont be anymore "in's and out's".
About a 1/4 till 8 they did another count and Im up to #84. So im totally stoked at this point...I actually have a good chance of getting one.
8:15 comes and they do another count.....im #93. Apparently this time they actually asked if people in line if they were buying one or not.
8:30 rolls around and the Best Buy guys start handing out the wristbands and a little piece of paper. They both have matching #'s on them and you gotta have both to buy. I ended up at the end of the day #93 of 104 Bit o Luck # 3
In between that time and 9..... I see a guys sell about 4 of the 5 wristbands he had all in excess of $150 each. Apparently he had buddys with him who said they were gonna buy and really werent. He sold them to 3 guys and one old lady who was #105. He only charged her $50, Nice guy.
So we finally get in and then get in line again. there is no order you have to be in as you are guaranteed to get one if you have the wristband. So I get in line unbeknownst to me that there is a table with all the accessories for it on the other side.
They only had 64 copies of Zelda...i dont get one
The only had 60 controllers... nada for me
Oh well...i got my Wii. Plus x-mas was right around the corner.
So we had people at the beginning of the line that camped out 3 days...i waited 3 hours... how lucky am I????
Next toy on my list... iPhone...it will be mine...oh yes it will be mine!!!! _________________

And with that story, you are offically at THE TOP of the suck list! Congratulations!
As for your prize, you can only listen to the broadcast at the low-bandwidth, and only when either Small World is playing or Jammin Jungle Parade. If any of your favorites come up, your broadcast will cut in and out and play random bits of generator noises from the Indy queue line. Now, we can revoke this glorious prize IF YOU FIND US A WII!
In all seriousness, cool for you! You were quite lucky. And if you haven't found Zelda yet, we have plenty of stores in the area that carry them. We'd be happy to pick one up for you and bring it at the end of the month, if you'd like. But you still suck. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Guess what I got today? No, it wasn't a Wii. I now have my new toy in the driveway. My lovely husband surprised me by having it all ready for me at the dealership earlier than it was supposed to be ready. Isn't he great? I'll take a picture of it during the day and post it. _________________ *~deb~*

That, Joe, is one example of getting off the SUCK LIST!
There is SUPPOSED to be a supply hitting our area on Sunday, and we'll be trying, but PLEASE do see what you can find. Worse case, it gets returned. If you were successful, you'd come RIGHT OFF the SUCK LIST and go right to the top of the GREAT PERSON list, pushing tE to the bottom! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
