Well I got a very nice, yet disappointing email from the fine folks at Disney, who informed me that I was not selected as a "Disney Mom"...or Dad....anybody else get this yet, and the snappy little "Thank you" downloads?

I have not yet been rejected....by Disney, that is.
But there's still time. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I too received my REJECTION letter. I was hoping to represent the "dads" out there.
My question is, in 500 words you would have to be pretty good to tell the story they were looking for in the 3 categories I answered to get selected. I look forward to reading the applications of the winners when they are (if) released. To see what got them chosen over the likes of Ellory and any of our fine UAB listeners who could do the job. No sour grapes here tho.... |

I have to admit - I think I waited a couple days before I posted the link to the contest here on UAB. Just to give me a little edge. just kiddin! But I really did wait a couple days |

Alas, I, too, was rejected by The Mouse. It appears that I didn't have what it takes to be a Disney Mom.
Oh well, I now have access to some useless downloads. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Disney was running a "promotion" to be a "Disney Mom" advisor for trip planning etc. If you were selected you'd get a trip and be part of a group that would help other "mom's" plan trips and such. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

And you lost????What with your womanly parts and all??? Clearly you should have showed them some of your drinks of choice....I'm sure they'll reconsider. _________________

I really hope they do not discriminate against us Disney Dads and put at least one on the panel. Don't make me go legal on YA!!!!! |
