At times it appears the song overlap is longer than others. I requested a few shorter items and I miss the first 5 seconds are so and then the last 5 or so, due to the overlap of srequests... Some request seem to have less or more.... has there been a thought to not overlap as much?

On longer items it not too bad, but some of the smaller announcments you miss 10-20% of the announcement....

It all depends on how much "blank space" there is on either side of a track. Some we have no control over.

But, the time is exactly the same when all tracks transition.

Thanks Daveypoo ....

Theres alot of overlapping ... any thoughts on making that less? (reminds me of DJs that overlap songs, thats why I went XM and Sirius...lol)

Im not complaining - love to listen either way.

No thoughts of making it less at all. This is, in part, one of our measures to prevent people from ripping our tracks. It's a small price to pay for the great quality.

I understand the complaint, but it kinda seems more professional the way it is right now. Maybe for the shoter tracks (5 sec or less) more air time could be place at the beginning or end of it?

I'm fine with the overlap, except when you have a 5 or 10 sec track, with no white time on either end, and 1/5 is masked by the prior track, and the other half by the next track. Outside of that... not really a problem.
