Ok My own contribution to the mobile UAB. Many of us have Blackberries for work or otherwise....I've been fishing for a streaming player for sometime now that will work on my blackberry curve.
I finally found one that works....
It's an opensource and free application for streaming media via a blackberry and other devices.
INSTRUCTIONS (VERY EASY, I'm doing it in small steps for those that might not be Tech Savvy):
1. In your Blackberry's Browser go to http://wap.getjar.com
2. Once the page has loaded, Select "Quick Download"
3. enter Quick Download Code 11135 and hit enter
4. Follow the prompts to install
5. After installation go to the blackberry menu and click the green icon for "MFRADIO"
6. Click the application menu button (either the sidewheel on older models or the button to the left of the trackball on pearl and curve models)
7. Click ADD
8. For the Title Enter "UAB" or "UTILIDORS AUDIO BROADCASTING"
9. For link type http://www.uabmagic.com:8000/
10. Click the application menu button again and select "OK"
11. You should see UAB as the new station on the menu. Just select and Enjoy!

Just adding to the information. I've had great success using MortPlayer on my Windows Mobil SmartPhone (AT&T Tilt/HTC Kaiser) and also on my old HP iPaq....
Save a shortcut to the winamp stream(s) on your phone and then open it in MortPlayer. Works Great! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best!
I'm going to create a section in the side navbar called "UAB on the go" Which will have a proven list of Phones and applications that people can use (along with directions) of what options are available to them when listening to UAB. _________________
Gee! The hospital only gives us alpha pagers. And I can't even get sports reports, or the stock market or anything. You guys will out "geek" me forever. I don't even have the latest Garmin for running or the Nike +Plus thing. which wouldn't matter if I did because I don't have an iPod.
That reminds me. I need to stop at CVS for some new batteries for my Walkman. _________________ [

I was listening to the MP3 stream on my Windows Mobile phone and my headphones, great quality! the monorail tracks sounded like I was actually in the Monorail, a little weird _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best!
There is a possibility, but since I don't have an iPhone/iTouch, I can't be sure.
I searched Google and found a couple of links that lead to two programs:
FlyTunes and ooTunes. There was also mention of access via Quicktime. I've also heard there is another way that involves "jailbreaking" the phone.
I can stream the audio over my T-Mobile Wing but I have to use the low end broadcast (port 8000) and if the signal becomes weak, you'll start buffering and possibly loose the connection.
I think it all becomes a matter of finding an application that will work with streaming. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

I too thought that the quick time feed would work as I have played Quick Time movies on my I touch. I will try those programs as jailbreaking sounds like more then I want to try. Thanks Daveypoo _________________ Jason
Got it working..... Yee haw... Love it!!!!! I tried it again today for the heckof it.... and Viola!!! it works....... it will be on all the time now......
