SO today is the first day of travel. sunnyd, my wife, and I are sitting happy after over 800 miles in the rental truck in Texas. For those who do not know, we asr moving from Gainesville FL, to San Luis Obispo CA. so If we splurge for a nice room with internet again tomorrow I will post were we are.

Hi everyone from the State of "enchanment" Here I am in Las Cruces NM. we put in a solid 852 miles today. Texas is a big state It took all stinking day to get across. I just want to thank all the well wishers. Right now I am contemplating a long haul all the way to my Dad's house in Central CA, near Fresno. I dare not look up the milage as it will scare me away from the idea. I look forward to the chance to spend some time here on the site again.

I look forward to seeing Pal Mickey when he makes it out of the boxes and into DL.
And - - the thought of moving the family cross country and driving all day has made my day of work strangely less stressful. |

Hi Everyone WE have Made it. Well at least to my Dad's house in Central CA. I did see a starnge site on I 40 between Flagstaff AZ and Kingman AZ. I wish I had a camera handy when I saw that someone had created a Bucky Ball home. For those unfamiliar with "Bucky Ball" it looks like a small spaceship earth. It was in the middle of the desert all by itself, anyway thanks again for your kind words.
