What you can do to help! Step 1. Station IDs

Ok folks,

The monetary donations have been MOST APPRECIATIVE. This was definitely unexpected especially now during these economic times. Again from all of us thank you.

Looking to help UAB. HEre's what we're looking to do straight away. STation IDs! Station IDs and more Station IDs. We're looking to replace ALL of our current station IDs as many of them are as old as UAB itself. Go ahead record yourself saying:

"This is <your name> and you are listening to Utilidors Audio Broadcasting"

Feeling creative...go ahead and write your own Station ID. JUST PLEASE, DO NOT MIX any music in as we need to clean up the file and will add music to it for you. Please let us know if you have a preferred track you'd like to use as background.

you can use free programs like Audacity and GoldWave to record your station ID and send it to us.

or

This is something I have been thinking about doing for a while now. Nice to see a revived thread calling for one. I think I'll write my own when things get a little less hectic and send it in. Maybe I'll get SweetMelissa to do one, too! Or at least do one with me.
