For tihose of you who do not know our very own Figmentathm will be running in the
Boston Marathon on Monday.
Let all wish him luck on his first running of the Boston Marathon.

Thanks. Yes. This is my first Boston, thanks to a waiver from my running club, because I'm not fast enough to qualify. (Unless maybe I register as a 60 YO woman! Hmmm!) Believe me, the Kenyans have nothing to worry about from me.
I ran a few miles on the course 2 weeks ago to check out "Heartbreak Hill". DLears and I drove the course on Easter Sunday to check it out start to finish. Weather calls for rain on marathon Monday, but this is New England and we'll just have to wait and see. Donna will be at the finish waiting for me as she always is at all my races.
And after the race I'll be able to say, "I'm going to Disney World!" since we leave April 30 for a long weekend.

Ah yes! The Wellesley College girls! Didin't Hillary go there! I have heard the stories about the "scream tunnel" , now I'll get to see and hear for myself. My running club is actually manning the water station near there at mile 12.
Maybe having my name still posted there is what keeps giving me night sweats over 2 years after I left. Time for an excorcism. Burn that list.

The real funny thing is that it's on the East side, which you've been away from for YEARS! (they replaced your name and steam cleaned your cube moments after you left the West side).

Another West Side Story!!! At least it wasn't as bad as the Tony scunge chair. I think we burned that one. Okay, enough humor about that place. It wasn't Easy despite what that button says.
