All of us here at UAB are wishing Figmentathm the best of luck in the 113th running of the Boston Marathon.
I'll try and keep everyone posted on Figment's progress throughout the day. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Ok, he's half way through the race at 1:59:11. His pace is 0:09:06. His projected time to complete the race is 3:58:25.
By all accounts he looks like he's doing well.
Way to go Frank! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

At the 30K mark (only 10K more to go!), he's at 2:58:05. His pace has slowed a bit but this is a long race.
You can do it Frank! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Thanks to all. Actually, my official finish time was 4:30:06. This was my 8th marathon and my first Boston. This was the toughest course I have ever run. My legs are beat, but I made it to work today. I was disappointed with my time, but as I go through the day today, I am happy to have finished. It has been a dream to run Boston since 1968. And yesterday I did it, although parts of it were more like a nightmare.
Now I'll rest up this week and on the 30th we take a little vacation to see the Mouse. I'll be walking better by than. _________________ [ |

John, I want you to retain the title of "UAB's Only Goofy Finisher". Unless we can get Krau to run it. Besides, I've been doing goofy things my whole life. I don't need back to back endurance runs. _________________ [ |
