Disney Room Ready Check-In Program

Disney recently started a new program to notify guests that their Disney Resort (WDW, DLR, and DVC). Guests can now leave their mobile number with Guest Services when they arrive at the resort hotel, so you can be notified when your room is ready! Disney will send you a text message or leave you a voicemail. You can opt out if you want, but it would require you to call periodically to see if your room is ready...

This sounds cool and very convenient....

Seems like an obvious type of feature to offer these days. Computer does all the work,and the staff gets to take all the credit.

I always hated having to call every few minutes, so I am really liking this. I will be able to test this feature out in about 100 days or so

I'm sure Dlears will be using this feature on our next visit. But I'd rather just drop my bag with bell services and go to the park and worry about getting into the room later. ME will handle the big luggage. Just a quick change of clothes from the carry on if necessary and off to the bus stop.
