That was neat. Thanks Bruce. You know Donna and I are big SSE fans. _________________ [ |

Awesome! I love taking pictures of SSE at different angles and times throughout the day. It's especially beautiful at night. |

Ask Grumpy how beautiful it was at 3:30 AM on January 9th this year. The snow and sleet bouncing off of it gave it a special glow? _________________ [ |

Yes, the snow and sleet gave it a new effect that I hope to never see again. |

I was 15 minutes away, snug in my bed. |

I was in French Quarter that night. It was my birthday. I warned my girlfriend before we left NJ that in all the years I lived in Florida, my birthday usually turned out to be one of the most miserable days of the year. She found out pretty quickly that I wasn't kidding. |

Yes. The weather sucked that weekend and into the following week. But....any time spent with the Mouse is good time.
Plus, I run better in the cold.
We'll be there again this year Pug, regardless of the weather. _________________ [ |

When we left to go to Downtown Disney that morning, all of the runners coming back in to the hotel looked totally defeated. I'm sure once you're out there and running, it doesn't matter all that much what the weather is like, but the wait before the race and the ride back after must have sucked.
I think a couple years from now, I might come down to do the big race, though. I was considering doing the half marathon this year, but some others ended meeting up with us at the parks that weekend, so those plans were scratched. |

Look Grumpy. Another victim. Maybe he was talking about you since you stayed at PO in January. _________________ [ |

I know we digress. But it's one of the few things we do well. _________________ [ |

the digressions are usually more interesting than the original threads. They are where I really learn about my UAB friends... |
