What to do if you're having a problem with the site

We appreciate all of our members, and we're glad to know that you're able to enjoy and listen to the broadcast, but sometimes, people have issues that prevent them from being able to enjoy all the aspects of the site.

We'd like for everyone to have a problem-free time while here but if you are having a problem, here are some tips to help get them resolved as quickly as possible.

1) If you're having a problem logging into the site or broadcast, try deleting all your off-line files and cookies. Sometimes, these items can get messed up and need to be refreshed, and the quickest and simplest way is to delete them.

2) Make sure your browser and Operating System are up-to-date. These 2 items are always getting updated to fix issues or resolve problems. Make sure yours are up to date.

3) Make sure your security software isn't causing a conflict. I've seen instances where my Norton Security software is automatically filling things in for me or changing what I enter because it thinks it knows what to do for me. If your software has that ability, turn it off and see if that resolves your problem. DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR SECURITY, just the auto-fill feature.

4) If you are still unable to resolve your problem, let us know about it. But please be as SPECIFIC as possible. Tell us your operating system, your browser, your music program, the version numbers for them all, etc. Also tell us, step by step, what you are doing and what is happening as you perform those steps. The more information you give us, the easier it will be to help troubleshoot and get your problem resolved.

We hope these points will help get you back on the site and broadcast and enjoying all that UAB has to offer!

Check the forums "White Courtesy Phone", or "for your information". They may already have the answer to your issue.
