Let's wish John and his daughter good luck as they head down to WDW for Marathon Weekend. John will be running the 5K to pace his daughter and nephew on Friday morning.

On Sunday morning he'll be getting up before 3:00 AM to catch a bus to the start of the marathon at Epcot. His wave goes off at 5:35 AM. This will be John's 3rd Disney Marathon. He's been running really well at distances from 5K to half marathons and is primed for a personal best this year. And there is beer on the line.

Good luck Grumpy. Drink Cheer

Good Luck John!

But do we use the "Run like the Wind Bullseye!" or "Run Forest, Run!" line?

Don sends his best wishes. Maybe we'll get him to join in the fun next year.

Get out of Providence before the snow flies. Enjoy Le Cellier and beer at R & C.

You should podcast from each mile.

Mile 1 - "This is GrumpyDaddy about to embark on the Disney Marathon."

Mile 7: "Hangin' in there."

Mile 15: "Why God, why?"

Mile 19: "Oh, it's hot. Milk was a bad choice.'

Mile 26.2: "....................."

Best of Luck!!!

Great job by Grumpy as he ran his best marathon ever in a time of 4:14:49. I guess that OLD coach might know what he is talking about. He'll be celebrating at the R & C tonight. Well deserved.

You still have a chance. He is still at WDW. His flight home was cancelled yesterday. And he and the family got a big spot on the Providence news last night about it.

From the way the weather looks up here, he won't get home today either.
