Clash of the medleys

So the "Now Playing" is showing Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular - Attraction Score (Part 1), which it was playing for around two-thirds of the track time, and I was greatly enjoying the Indiana Jones score, and then it suddenly switched to the Nightmare Before Christmas score. Without changing the "Now Playing".

Now, don't get me wrong, I do love a healthy dash of Elfman, but my brain was totally in John Williams mode, and then BAM - Elfman!

What you heard (and saw) was a hidden track. It plays but does not show up on the Now Playing page.

If you have the miles and timeâ€¦request away! I know a lot of folks who have requested a lot of tracks a lot of times over and again. I've not been on much latelyâ€¦but if you want to hear something else-make some requests-right?

I know when I'm on I hear a lot of other repeat requests (EPCOT) and I don't see any complaints--and I do hear a lot of those requests (over and over again).

This is a community--not everyone loves the same stuff, but that's what makes up a community--different folks coming together. Not everyone is as thick skinned as the Off Kilter/Poly crowd either, sometimes comments like these are taken in way that just makes some members of the community want to not be a part any longer. I guess that would serve the purpose of not having those requests any longer, but it also pushes a fellow Disney lover away from what is supposed good place to be.

Well -- since this little hubub about requesting and hidden tracks - I have noticed a lot more variety in requests and requestors - I really like listening to what other UABers like and I really enjoy the comments, even if some seem a little negative - but as the moose says - this is a community and we should respect what each of us thinks and as dp would say "play nice" - anxious to see how the top 10 shuffles out this week

Everyone has their love and hate tracks, which are different from the next member's, and that is what makes this place so great! I remember way back you would hear the same 5 or 6 tracks in the morning (usually thanks to ltdeb). It was mainly due to the smaller group of members and listeners. Over the last few years as we have expanded the broadcast has become more diverse, although you can still hear some of the same tracks over and over....

Ah, the good old days, I do remember the great Off Kilter invasion of the Polynesian of 2007... which was bloody hillarious!
