So our little chill turned into 5-6 inches of snow on Thursday, 4-5 more on Friday and 3-4 more on Saturday followed by 1/2" of ice on top of it. Beautiful but a nightmare to get around. Just packed snow, no problem. Just freezing rain, not great but not terrible. 2" of firmly packed snow tucked safely under 1/2" of ice, not pretty. Looks like we are going to start thawing out tomorrow around noon.

I have always lived in the desert SW - except for my summer home in Colorado and a few trips in winter - so can't imagine - sounds scarey to me ... Smile

We've got tons of food in preparation for the sequel to the Atlanta Snowpocalypse, also known as Hothlanta. We aren't supposed to get much snow here in the city, but they are calling for nearly half an inch of ice over the next two days. We'll have our tauntauns at the ready!

After a day and night of snow then windy and rainy we had a lottle snow as the
storm pulls away.

Mostly sunny and cold with the temp about 35.

Not to worry we have another storm coming in late tonight into tomorrow with
more wintery mess coming our way. Rolling Eyes

Spring can start any time now, I've had my fill of winter!!!! Rolling Eyes

Embarassed I hate to report another upper 80 degree day here in the SW - way too hot way too soon - no buzz tails on my porch yet - but expect one any day now - See what you miss when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground Smile

grey skies, seems warm, but really only in the 40's, some melting, enough to cause a large fog, but nothing significant yet
