Are they both voiced by male voice actors? I might have known that about Roz, not so sure I knew it about Edna. |

Nope. These are not characters that the world actually knew prior to Disney, although they are widely associated with Disney now. |

Whoops! My clue said the opposite of what I wanted it too! Characters WERE widely known prior to Disney, but are definitely associated with the company now, as well as being prominent in the parks.
Not Mortimer and Pete, but my poor editing takes the blame for that wrong guess. |

Yes he did! All but Roo,, whom Christopher Robin Milne lost in an apple orchard in the 1930's. They are kept in a climate controlled and bulletproof display case, and see over 750,000 visitors every year! |
