You are correct, that is another one of his jobs. The final actual job involved selling something in the park.
The hinted at job was also selling something but more likely on a busy street corner than the park. |

Close enough. Hinted at job was roasted chestnut seller (it is England after all!)
Last job, selling something in the park to mainly kids, has a great song in the movie.

Not Mushy. Purple was also chosen for this character's eye color to liven them up, as their over all color scheme was thought to be fairly dull. |
