Hey Daguru, Horizons is my all time favorite attraction, but being that it's a 23 minute track I let others request it. It's their right if they want to hear it.
It's all about the Community as a whole. This goes for you too. You want to hear Off Kilter then by all means go for it and request away. I know I do . I'm big on old Irish Drinking Songs hence why you see Whiskey in the JAr requested by me a lot. I've also had a fondness for Murkin Durkin lately...
The requests are there for a reason.....so request away...and forget what anyone else says. They have their turn too ..

Some of the aforementioned tracks do get tedious after hearing them so often. Horizons was one of my favorites, but it is getting old. The same for Sonny Eclipse. But it's the same case with my CD's. I'll get a new one and leave it in the car for a week. Then it goes on the shelf for a while.
When something I don't want to hear comes on, I'll take off the headphones or go for a walk. Sometimes I just live with it.
All in all, I think there is a great balance, and I appreciate that. And with the limitations on requests, I think everybody gets a fair shot at their favorites. _________________ [ |

Sorry...Im not down for the Off Kilter but thats me and I respect that other do like it. Tencennial Parade bugs as well. I like the stuff from Club 33 although they tend to put me asleep...not good when listening at work. "Good Morning Main Street" (playing now) is getting old too.
Kinda bummed about Condor Flats area music being broken up...nothing like listening to and hour or so of the theme from "The Last Starfighter"!! |

Awe come on everybody. I love all the Disney songs on this broadcast and you should too. Shame on all of you!!!
Just Kidding. Some music does get to be a little much but that's why they invented beer so everything sounds good after awhile.
For me I have to say I remove the headphones at work whenever Animal Kingdom Entrance music comes on. It's kind of long and drawn out. Did I mention it's kind of boring also (but hey if you like it, just put a few beers in me and I'll hum along with you.)
Also not the biggest fan of Great Movie Ride and Tower of Terror area music. |

Did anyone else notice that the number one song was skipped....
It went from two (the Water Parade), did the intro for #1 and then played the outro, no #1....weird...
maybe the drunk irish fans broke it when we stormed the stage... |

Heh,
No...It had previously played as the last track BEFORE the countdown kicked off.
I'm working on writing something for Deb and Dave that will prohibit requests of songs that are potentially top 10 worthy. This will only be executed on Fridays and Saturdays X number of hours before a countdown show. That way they don't have to do this and in turn confuse the heck out of people

Magic Journeys
Kitchen Kabaret
The only two park tracks off the top of my head that I am pretty much finished listening to. |
