YEs...ORIGINALLY the "Thud" from the Body ONLY played through a set of speakers outside of the ER in the Load area queue line (near the exit door)...which raised a HUGE question mark to most...This has since been fixed and sounds GREAT.

The Bat effect in the tower when the hanging body is shown is also a nice touch.

Leota has gotten a new projection and some ghostly white hair (permed) surrounding her face...It's a bit odd from a distance but once you get up and close you can see it a lot better. IMO it looks better from near rather far since all of the white blends together.

We went out to MK this past weekend, first time since the Jamboree in Oct of last year... Haunted Mansion still looks awesome! The Leota effect looks great... However, the Bride is still a little weird, they haven't moved the static head to match the direction that the projection head is facing in...

One thing I noticed now that I did not notice in Oct, so I think it is actually new... In the hallway (with the wallpaper), they have put up pictures on the walls. Well the pictures are some of the original concept work and artwork for the ghost in the attration. I also noticed a few additional wall decorations and I think even a hall table with pictures around it...

Does anyone else remember this from when it reopened or is this something that has been added since then?

When we went in December the pictures were up in the hallway. I remember seeing pictures of the hatbox ghost like 6 or 7 times.

You will find those pictures in DL's HM, so they are new to WDW. I'm glad, I've always liked them!

I'd like some one to verify something I though I saw on the mansion, but did not have time to confirm...
When in the Attic scene... The brides picture changes after she has "parted" from her spouse.
What I thought I noticed was that after each "offing" she gained a pearl necklace. After the first husband she had 1 necklace, after the second she had 2, etc.

I was not able to verify if this pattern continued or if I simply missed the additional necklaces in the early shots. I also think they are not in the wedding image and only the alone images. Can anyone else confirm this? Or correct me?

I remember the bride changing in the pictures, but I don't recall the necklace. Would be good to get some high res video of that.

I thought in Florida, the necklaces were not there in the before image, and only in the after.

These pictures don't show that. It could be the way they were photographed, it could be they are different where ever those were taken, or I could just have missed it.

Can anyone tell us if in Florida the necklaces are also in the before images?
