I haven't been to the area in a long time. I just found out that the Big Bamboo (http://bigbamboolounge.com/) is closed. Does anyone know if there's a place that has replaced it as a hangout for off duty Cast Members? |

Nothing could ever replace the Big Bamboo! I spent many a late night there with Bruce behind the bar, Glen Miller on the record player and the Christmas lights strung around the room. It was a magical place, especially when it was raining outside. It felt like you had been transported to Polynesia... _________________ John |

I have about 5 nametags at "The Boo" It was THE hangout after so many long hours working at the parks as we miss it so. I remember when the fire happened and gutted the place.
Come to think of it, I think one of my girlfriends left a bra there.

I have spent many a night at the Boo!!! After a long "doubleback" day at the JC,
it was a welcome sight! _________________ WDW Cast Member: 96 CP Jungle Cruise, 98 CP Jungle Cruise, 99-01 Boardwalk Front Desk, and Port Orleans French Quarter GSM; 02-05 Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Merchandise GSM; 05 yachtsman Steakhouse |
