"My Favorites" interface added to Now Playing page

Hi All,

While working on some other things for the site, I went ahead and recoded parts of the Now Playing page so that eligible community members can add tracks to their "favorites" should they ever hear something that they like during the broadcast.

Hope this makes things a bit more convenient for everyone!

I know I did the previous post here...but it was almost a month ago...I am hearing Ludwig RIGHT NOW...talking about the show! I'm excited to hear these...I have an idea that some will have more Poly and others will have more Off Kilter than others...but it will be fun to hear what folks enjoy most!!!

We'd love to start it soon. We need members to record the intros and outros to their shows, in MP3 format, and send them to us. Right now we only have a couple of submissions.....so let's get on it UABers....record away!!! Laughing

**Please-no background music, or sound effects....ty**

remember, you must have at least 50 selected tracks in your favorites, to qualify....

OK dude...expect a message from me... I was given the link to a program to download...and I'm feeling a little lucky (I actually learned how to create a report in ACCESS this weekend--woohoo!)

I know I have a mic on my computer--it's the only one...will that work??

I hope some more folks do their recordings...I think it will be a fun segment to listen to!!

plus...if I can manage to do it---anyone can!!!

You can also download the trial version of "Goldwave"...it's easy to use...

click "Try"...and the trial version will download...

The one I have is Audacity...I haven't downloaded it yet though...is one better than the other (or just easier to use??)

I use Audacity, but I have never used any other. Plus it came at the right price. OCM you may want to look into another Mic other then the one on the Computer. But I am sure some of the more tech freindly members have a better opinion on the matter.
