Hello all,
Have you ever been in a situation where you would normally be furious, but due to your use of UAB have responded simply with a Disney anecdote that turned the situation into a humorous one? Well if so please share it here!
My brother and I had a rather funny "UAB Moment" today that I just had to share with everyone. We were driving through a small shopping adjacent to a very busy road. We had an older aged driver in front of us that just couldn't seem to make up his mind on where he was going, in addition to driving extraordinarily slow! We just sighed and tried to take it in stride until it became a problem as he simply did not budge once he reached the other side of an intersection leaving my brother and I directly in the middle of the intersection!
My first reaction was to just lay on the horn, if there had been more impending traffic I most certainly would have, but the rest of the intersection was luckily deserted.So after sitting directly behind him but still exposed in the intersection for almost 20 seconds, I just lowered my head then raised it and found myself singing
"Now is the time! Now is the best time! Now is the best time of our life!"
My brother soon joined in and we broke out in laughter. The foggie eventually decided that continuing along was a good idea and a more negative situation was avoided. It made my morning and raised my spirits significantly. I'm still humming the tune.
