When I checked the queue at 12:57 to see if the weekly top ten had been loaded in, it had a queue time of...
Queue Duration: 05 hours : 19 minutes : 23 seconds
Not sure what is in the queue, but they must include a LOT of long tracks. |

the 61 minute track "Main Street USA Christmas Area Music" sure accounts for a lot of this |

Hey... don't blame me this time (but I sure have been getting the blame for a few years now)!
I haven't been able to listen for days... I didn't even know the Christmas tracks were released! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

It was ME HAHAHAHAHA. I heard a track play late one night and have been requesting them late Pacific Coast time when few people are on I wanted to see how high in the top ten I could get them. I really do love the Christmas Music. _________________ Jason

They are good tracks... but playing them JUST to get them high in the top ten... that's just gonna start a Christmas tracks vs OK challange.... You know that. |

I know this is probably going to start discussions of splitting those two tracks, which I think would be a mistake. But there should be some way to differentiate the two 60 mins tracks from the rest. I had a few brainstorms:
1) Raise flyer miles needed to request
2) Set tracks so that only members of a certain level or right can request (kind of like when new tracks are only available to members of certain levels when they are first released)
3) Increase the request period to 24 or more hours (not sure if this is even possible)
4) Replace the long track with a shorter track for the top ten, maybe a vocal track, instead of playing the track itself (again, not sure if this is even possible)
I love those tracks and would hate to see them split up... And normally it is not that big of a deal, but it seems that when it does become an issue, it becomes a major issue. I think we could come up with some way of resolving these issues without splitting the tracks...
Just thinking out loud.... _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

I think the tracks are quite enjoyable.
And - actually - he HAS (considerately) been requesting them at non-peak hours.
I say leave well enough alone... |

I actually request things to see how high I can get them in the top ten quite often. No one normally notices because the tracks are not 45 - 60 minutes long. Oh but imagine the glory if there was an uncut poly track. _________________ Jason
