I know this has been asked before in passing, but why doesn' the "Food Rocks!" track always show up on the queue?
It's in the requests section, and I know that I've seen it in the queue before. I've even commented on it. It's only sometimes that it doesn't show up in the queue. It's playing right now, and not showing on the queue, actually.
I didn't think of it that way, that someone may have actually requested it/it is playing like a normal song. I always thought it was just butting into the queue and not letting the system advance.

Well, there are some seasonal tracks that aren't available for requests that appear from time to time, making the queue appear as if it is frozen. It's not actually the case, of course. Since the seasonal track isn't officially available for request it's also not officially available for the queue. It's kind of a hidden track when it plays randomly off-season or as part of someone's UAB Your Way show.
Food Rocks! is different, though. It's not seasonal and it is available for request all of the time. It should show up on the queue every time it plays, I would think.
Nothing "freezes" the queue. If a track is not requestable, or commercials, station ID's, and the thankyou announcement, it will not show on the now playing page and the last track to play will look as though it is "frozen". Since the tracks don't show in the now playing page, there isn't much to do other than to keep the last track played and wait for the next, requestable track to start playing.
As for Food Rocks, it is requestable so I'm not sure what you're seeing and hearing. It's possible that we have another "Food Rocks" track that is not requestable (or as we call a "Mystery Track") and that's what you are hearing.
If it's a real problem, we'll gladly take the time to research it and resolve the issue. Otherwise, we'll just leave it and consider it a BONUS. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Not a problem. I assumed that there were two tracks and the second "mystery" track was the culprit. I was just curious as to why it happened with that particular track on occasion.
